Gmail Setup Guide

Connect your personal or Google Workspace account to deliver secure links directly through your own inbox.

Why use Gmail?

Using Gmail is the fastest way to get started. Emails sent via your own Gmail account have the highest deliverability rates for retail customers because they come from a trusted, personal address that you already use.

Initiate Connection

Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Email and find the Google Gmail provider card.

  • Click Connect Gmail Account.
  • You will be redirected to Google's secure login page.

Review Permissions

Google will ask if you want to grant Aranly permission to send emails on your behalf.

Security Note

We only request the gmail.send scope. This means we can only send emails; we cannot read your inbox, delete messages, or manage your account.

Set as Default

Once connected, return to the Email Settings page.

  • Click the Save Gmail as Default button at the top of the provider list.
  • Look for the Active badge to confirm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Daily Sending Limits

Standard Gmail accounts have a limit of 500 emails per day, and Google Workspace accounts have a limit of 2,000. If you expect higher volume, consider our HTTP API Integration.

Updating Your Account

If you want to use a different Gmail address, simply click Disconnect Gmail in settings and then connect the new account.
